The WIFI-21CFR-TP+ measures the temperature using the high-accuracy probe attached.
Using a compatible WiFi network, the device streams data wirelessly to the FilesThruTheAir™ 21CFR Cloud. During set up, the sensor will search for an existing wireless network whilst plugged in to the PC via the USB cable. After configuration, the sensor can then be placed anywhere in the range of the network to begin logging. If the device temporarily loses connection with the WiFi network, it will continue to log readings until it is able to recommect and send data to the FilesThruTheAir 21CFR Cloud (max 30 days at 10-second sample interval). The unit itself is free standing, but can be attached to a surface or wall using the bracket provided. It is IEEE 802.11bgn (2.4GHz) compliant, supports WEP, WPA/WPA2 encryption and enterprise networks (PEAP, TTLS, FAST).
