"An outstanding number of companies entered the awards this year, presenting their product launches, business initiatives and commercial achievements."
This year we entered our range of WiFi Environmental Monitoring Sensors that use the FilesThruTheAir™ Cloud Management and can be used for a huge variety of applications in many different industries. The awards, sponsored by Electronics Weekly and many others, have 16 award categories so we’re delighted to have been shortlisted for the ‘Internet of Things' Product Innovation Award – sponsored by Micron Technology.
"The finalists for this award were selected for demonstrating innovative application of their core technologies to take advantage of the IoT phenomenon."
The panel of judges deciding the winners include Richard Wilson from Electronics Weekly, Derek Boyd, CEO of National Microelectronics Institute and Jon Howes, Technology Director at Beecham Research. They’ll be announcing the results on the 27th November so fingers crossed!
"The WiFi sensors can be used in medical and pharmaceutical environments, logistics and storage, food and drink, site management, farming and horticulture and within the retail industry."
"Specific use cases cover the distribution and storage of chilled food and drink products, monitoring of critical manufacturing processes, meeting temperature compliance regulations for vaccine storage and logging the same data in greenhouses for optimum seed germination and product growth."

For those of you uninitiated in the world of contemporary sandwich design, The Sammies are an annual award for the British sandwich industry. This year we entered our range of WiFi temperature sensors which can be used for sandwich temperature monitoring into the New Sandwich Product of the Year Award and were delighted to be shortlisted. The award, sponsored by M&S, was split into two categories, Ingredient and Product/Equipment, and we were by far the most technologically advanced product, perhaps a little too advanced, but we hope to catch on within the sandwich industry as our sandwich temperature monitoring system becomes more widely used within the catering industry.
